It’s Empties time again – and it’s another big one! Lately it seems like I’ve been keeping hold of a couple of used up things for ages and then all of a sudden this happens. Plus in the week since I took these photos I’ve already used up a couple of other things. I’m definitely an everything at once kind of product finisher.

I got this month’s Glossybox using up the points I had on my account for referrals and answering their surveys. Considering that I didn’t like the sneaked product this month, I’m not really sure why I chose to get this box. I guess because I had been waiting for them to do another themed box, as they are usually better.

Well I’ve been a bit absent from the blog this past week, which I apologise for. It’s been a terrible week, filled with lots of stress and stress-eating and not enough sleep.
This weekend, I was indeed of one thing from Lush so walked into town to grab it. Two hours of wondering around later, I came back with a bit more than I had initially intended… Always seems to go that way!

This is a post I’ve been thinking about writing for the past few months and really wish I’d written sooner. My weight has been something I’ve struggled with since Sixth Form, I lost weight at uni but since it’s piled back on and now I’m back where I started. Worse, actually.
These have got to be the two most popular Micellar Waters on the market at the moment and I am lucky enough to have both in my stash. I’ve used up a whole bottle of each and decided it was definitely time for a highend vs drugstore comparison of two fantastic products. Continue reading

Happy Easter everyone! I think it’s about time I shared my thoughts on the much renowned Nuxe face mask, as I have been using this since October. This mask claims to provide instant freshness and hydrate even the driest of skin.
It came! It came! If you’ve read my blog recently, you probably saw a slightly mixed experience review where I said how lovely the Pink Parcel customer service team have been, but that I hadn’t actually received my parcel. After seeing my post, the PP team tweeted me to let me know that due to high demand after their fantastic free parcel offer, that they were dispatching all free boxes in April. It was to my complete surprise then, that I came home that same day to find March’s box waiting for me. And what a box!

It’s award time again! And this time I was nominated by Just Jay Beauty for the Creative Blogger Award, which I haven’t had before so I’m pretty excited! Thank you to Jay (who is lovely by the way and has a great blog).
Well this isn’t quite the post I was expecting to write on Pink Parcel this month. You may have seen a post I did earlier in the month where I had discovered that Pink Parcel were offering a free box to new subscribers for International Women’s Day. Keep reading
Today I want to talk about two items that are absolute essentials in my make up bag, which I find myself repurchasing as soon as they seem like they’re getting low as I just cannot bear to go without them. Yet, neither has had a proper review on my blog before! So I decided to create a new series for items I find myself repurchasing every time without fail.

I thought I’d talk about something a bit different today. Over the past four years, I have moved at least once a year. First into halls in Cardiff, then into a 6 bed house for my second year of university, followed by a 3 bed flat for my final year. Then I moved back to my parents into a room my mum had decorated for me, but never really felt like mine and then back into what had always been my bedroom when my brother went off to uni and, most recently, into a 2 bed house in Reading. Through out all this, I have gained a pretty good idea of how to make what is usually a pretty plain space into somewhere that feels like it belongs to me and gives that lovely comforting feeling of being home. Here’s a few images of my new place and some thoughts on what I think make a place home.

As in reviews of two eyeliners from the brand Seventeen, not seventeen reviews of different eyeliners! That would be a pretty long post… Both of these eyeliners I got in a gift set in the January sale as featured in my Christmas Beauty Haul. The set contained four eyeliners for only £6.
This is the first item I’ve reviewed from my recent French Beauty Haul, I haven’t gotten round to trying out all of the items yet, but this is by far my favourite out of the ones I have.
I think I’m addicted to beauty boxes. Not in all all consuming must-get-all-of-them every single month kind of way, but since I got my first Glossybox back in July, I haven’t gone a month without a beauty box of some kind. This month being short of cash and having just moved I wasn’t planning on getting any. But then I saw this one and I just had to have it.
