I don’t think I made it much of a secret when I received this box that it was by far my favourite Glossybox to date. I may have only had three, but this is a whole other level for them. Read on to see if I still love it as much now that I have had chance to put the products to the test!

As I mentioned before, this is my first box from You Beauty Discovery and I’ve now had plenty of time to go through and give these products a go. That means its time for some reviews!
It’s that time again! I’ve had chance to use everything in my Birchbox now and get a better idea of which products work for me and which don’t.

Some of you might remember this from a haul post I did a little while back. I love the Aussie brand anyway, so couldn’t resist picking this up when it was on offer in Boots for £3.33 down from £4.99. Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo 180ml comes in a few varieties, but I got the Colour Mate one. I’ve been using this a lot, especially since I used up the last of my Batiste, so I thought I’d let you all know how it shapes up.
Okay so this is the promised follow-up post to let you all know how I’m getting on with changing to sulphate free shampoo. If you haven’t seen it already, you can read about why I switched and how I got in during the first week here.
I did originally say that I would do an update after a week, however I felt like there wasn’t really much to say apart from giving more unanswered questions so I’ve waited to do an extra week to give you all a better idea of what it’s been like to make the switch. The products pictured above are from The Body Shop’s Rainforest range (£4.50 each).

I did say I’d gone a bit beauty box crazy this month didn’t I? Well, hopefully as followers of my blog you understand my growing obsession with them. The third and final box I got this month was my usual Glossybox. Now I know I promised this post on Monday, but I missed the postman and then my dad collected it on Tuesday, but I wasn’t at home. I’ve just got back, opened this up and boy oh boy was it worth the wait!

So time for the second post of the day! A first for me, but as with the Birchbox, this beauty box arrived on Friday evening (at the same time actually) and I’ve only got to have a proper look at it today.
You Beauty Discovery is a sample based beauty monthly subscription service. The main difference between this and other beauty boxes is that each month a list of products are released and members get to select two items they wish to try out. Other items are then added in so you still get a surprise through the door each month. The packaging is clean and simple, but still attractive. This month is their first birthday, so they have included a bonus item in every box!
As far as Sundays go, sitting eating cherry pie and writing about beauty boxes isn’t a bad way to spend some time! And yes beauty boxes plural, because I have two new subscription boxes to try out and compare for you this month, along with my usual Glossybox!
First up, is Birchbox. My parcel arrived Friday evening and I took a quick peek at it, but as I’ve been really busy I’ve only sat down and had a proper look at it this afternoon. I have to say, I’m quite impressed!

Well doesn’t this have quite the title! I was nominated for this award by two of my favourite bloggers, Beck from Beck In A Blog (whose image I used!) and Clare from Clare’s Beauty Blog! You should definitely go check them out and enter Clare’s Benefit Giveaway!
The time has finally come for my first ever Empties post! I love reading about other people’s empties as you know they have well and truly tested the product out to have used the whole thing up, so by the end of it they have a solid opinion on the product. After my recent Beauty Haul, I’ve been making an effort to use up my old products before I start my new ones as my stash has grown substantially.
But before we get onto the products, I’d like to say a massive thank you to all of you who read my blog! In the last couple of days, my WordPress followers has jumped to 100, my views have gone over 1000 and I’ve received loads of likes and comments! And if that wasn’t enough, I’ve gained followers on Bloglovin, Twitter and Instagram too! Your support means a lot :)
Just over a week ago, I went and visited my local Benefit Brow Bar (in Boots, some are in Debenhams though) and got my brows tinted and waxed. I’ve only had my brows waxed twice before and never tinted.
The last time I had my brows done, the technician did a really bad job which put me off for a while and I went back to plucking, but as always I ended up over plucking one brow (the other I pluck less cause of my fringe). Frustrated, I left my brows to grow back in for two months and started researching some better places to go. After reading Scarlet’s review over at AnxiouslyBold, I decided to check out my local brow bar.

Last Friday, I purchased The Body Shop’s Rainforest Radiance Shampoo and Conditioner. Before buying them I did my research and I found that sulphate is a strong cleaning chemical which is used in many industrial products, such as car shampoo, engine degreaser and floor cleaners. Ew. It’s also completely synthetic and is usually in the form of Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS). It is what causes your shampoo to lather and go all bubbly. Because it is a harsh synthetic compound it strips out hair colour, can irritate the skin, leaves the scalp dry, can cause hair breakage, causes frizziness and can cause hair to go grey earlier! So really, why would you want to use this on your hair?
I am very pleased to say that I have been nominated for my second Liebster Award! I was nominated by Liz from The Bronzed Doll who writes about make up and nails! Go check her out! Keep reading
So I went shopping again – my bad! I’m all shopped out for the month now, but I picked up some essentials and much wanted items to give my wardrobe a mini freshen up ready for the Autumn. Here’s what I picked up:

This is yet another overdue post! I was first nominated for this award by BeckInABlog back on the 22nd of August, then by OnceUponAGlam a couple of days later and most recently Clare’sBeautyBlog a few days ago! So sorry to Beck and Sonya for taking so long to do this! All of their blogs are fantastic, so if you’re not already following them, then go check them out!
