February Favourites

Another month gone already! I’ve found quite a few products that I’ve been loving this month and want to share with you all. There’s a mixture of hair care and skin care, plus a lip balm!

Birmingham Haul!

On Tuesday, my godmother, mum and I went on a shopping trip to the Bull Ring in Birmingham. We’d been planning the trip for a month or so, but as I’m moving I didn’t have quite as much money as I’d have liked. But that didn’t stop me from getting spendy!

Bleach London I Saw Red Review

Having such bright hair is a commitment and I do put a lot of effort into picking out the right products and maintaining my hair. I think its worth the effort, but I’m always on the look out for products which can make it a bit easier. One of the main products I use on my hair is temporary dye mixed with conditioner to help keep my colour looking fresh.

FOTD: My Everyday Make Up

This is just a quick post for you today to show you all my typical make up look that I wear everyday. I tend to go for a nude lip and eyeshadow, with bold black eyeliner, making sure to fill in my brows so that they don’t get lost on my face.

My New Look Wish List

Despite having done a fairly significant haul in New Look last month, I have still managed to compile a list of 10 items I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on! I just can’t help but love New Look as they’re such good quality and affordable clothes.

Mark Hill Quick Fix Dry Shampoo Review

Just over a week ago, I was meeting a friend for lunch and popped into Boots to grab a new dry shampoo as the bottle of Batiste I had at the time was pretty much empty. I don’t like being caught without it so I stocked up on a new can ready for when it died. Recently it seems there has been a huge expansion of dry shampoo lines by all kinds of hair care companies, so I was quite spoilt for choice.

Neutral Protein Filler 6 Month Review

By far the most viewed post on my blog is the Neutral Protein Filler Review. However, it’s more of an initial impressions post, as I wrote the review after one use. I have now been using it when dying my hair for the past six months and felt that I have more to add to the subject.

Changes

It’s funny how everything happens at once! After months and months of feeling like I wasn’t getting anywhere, I have been offered not one, but TWO graduate jobs in graphic design! The second, which I was offered yesterday, is a permanent position and is doing the kind of design work I enjoy most, so I have happily accepted the job.

My Beauty Stash

This month, I need to cut back on my spending as I’m changing my job, going away for a week and also got a big shopping trip to Birmingham planned. I know, a shopping trip and a spending ban? Not going to go well… However, I decided to go through my surprisingly large collection quickly with you all. Hopefully, documenting and organising it all a bit better will help me to realise what I actually own and curb those spendy urges.
