June Favourites

As it’s the end of the month, I decided to do a June Favourites post! I love reading about people’s essential products, so hopefully you’ll enjoy reading about mine!

My hair essential this month, and basically every month since I discovered it, is this Argan Oil Hair Treatment from Boots. Its £12.99 for 100ml, which sounds expensive, but one bottle easily lasts me six months! My hair is quite long and thick, so I use six pumps every time I wash my hair (every 2-3 days). If you have less or thinner hair than me then you’ll need less product so it’ll last you even longer! I cannot live without this oil. It makes the knots fall out my hair, makes it softer, shiner, less frizzy, dries quicker, nourishes and smells like candy. In my opinion it’s worth every penny. (I have tried a cheaper alternative and not only was it rubbish, but it made my hair incredibly greasy).

Make Up Haul

I am one of those people who manages to forget that they have gift cards to spend. I think it’s cause I’m a December baby, so I tend to get a lot in one go gift-wise & then nothing for a year. When I was little my mum used to keep all our gift cards (as in my two brothers and I – they’re Jan babies) until it was Easter or Summer and we’d inevitably want something so I guess this has become a subconscious habit. Having found a gift card for my local shopping centre tucked away, I decided to treat myself to some new make-up. And it’s just in time for graduation too!

My First Blogging Milestone!

Hey! So I know I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, but things have been pretty hectic in my life recently! Having completely finished university, I had to pack up my things, say goodbye to my friends, a city I fell in love with and move back to my parents’ house. Sorting out my stuff once back ‘home home’ (as my uni friends & I call it!) took much longer than expected. In fact, I’m still not completely done :( AND I’m trying to get myself a job!

So with all this going on, I took some chill time yesterday by going for a 10 mile walk, stopping to enjoy a pint and the country side along the way. Bliss.

What’s In My Make Up Bag?

I decided to do one of these posts, as I am in desperate need of a make up overhaul! I tend to stick to the lower end high street items, but want to try more premium products. Hopefully, you’ll be able to see my make up bag evolve, as I plan on writing an updated post at a later date.
