If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you may have read about my previous experiences with Pink Parcel. I have had two boxes from them this year, both of which were delivered too late for that time of the month. Both times I was impressed with the customer service I received.

Back in October I made the switch to sulphate free shampoo and have found that it really agrees with my hair – it helps my colour last longer, allows me to go an extra day between washes and is overall shinier and healthier. I scoured the shelves of Boots and The Body Shop (among others) and have tried out several different ones since then, but nothing was as good as the beloved Liz Earle offering. Until now.

It’s not been that long since my last Empties post. In fact, I’m writing this up more than a week in advance because I am dying to throw all of this out! (Except the Lush pot, keeping that for their trade in scheme.) Despite having had 11 items in the previous post, I’ve had most of this sitting around for a few weeks already. I used most of it up within a couple of days of blogging the last lot and have only added 1 or 2 since then.

I have to confess, this being my first proper full time pay cheque in well over a year, I did get a tad carried away. (The triple points offer at Boots didn’t help!) But at the same time, I stocked up on some essentials and definitely deserved a few treats. After all, I have been working hard!

I saw this great post on Lulu’s Beauty Spot a few weeks back and knew as soon as I read it that I wanted to do my own version of it. According to Lulu, this was once a classic blog question, much like what’s in my handbag, but is one I haven’t seen before! Have I completely missed this craze?

Sticking with my previous post’s rather overwhelming hair care theme, I thought I would review the current sulphate free shampoo that I have been using. It is, of course, the much loved and reviewed Liz Earle Botanical Shine Shampoo, which is £10 for 200ml and definitely the most I have spent on one shampoo.
The unusual thing about the Liz Earle shampoo range is that this is it! Just the one shampoo and a conditioner, which wasn’t available at the time. I think it takes a lot of confidence in your product to only sell one product for all hair types, but it is because it is made from natural ingredients, which are great for your hair. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t people out there who wouldn’t like this product, but from what I’ve seen of online reviews, they are few and far between.

My name’s Rachael and I am a hair obsessive. Particularly with unnatural hair colours. I don’t quite know what it is about it, I see it and I love it! As a result of my hair obsession, I do follow people on instagram solely for their hair…

Another month gone already! I’ve found quite a few products that I’ve been loving this month and want to share with you all. There’s a mixture of hair care and skin care, plus a lip balm!

Having such bright hair is a commitment and I do put a lot of effort into picking out the right products and maintaining my hair. I think its worth the effort, but I’m always on the look out for products which can make it a bit easier. One of the main products I use on my hair is temporary dye mixed with conditioner to help keep my colour looking fresh.
Just over a week ago, I was meeting a friend for lunch and popped into Boots to grab a new dry shampoo as the bottle of Batiste I had at the time was pretty much empty. I don’t like being caught without it so I stocked up on a new can ready for when it died. Recently it seems there has been a huge expansion of dry shampoo lines by all kinds of hair care companies, so I was quite spoilt for choice.
By far the most viewed post on my blog is the Neutral Protein Filler Review. However, it’s more of an initial impressions post, as I wrote the review after one use. I have now been using it when dying my hair for the past six months and felt that I have more to add to the subject.
It’s been a few months since I last did a favourites post, as I felt like I was saying the same things over and over. However I’ve had some recent additions to my stash and rediscovered an old favourite which I want to share with you all.

I’ve decided it’s time to formally introduce you all to the shampoo I have been using for the past four weeks or so. From my previous shampoo review post, you may be aware that I was having some trouble finding a sulphate free shampoo that actually did everything I wanted it to. Well, I think I’ve found the answer! Enter Schwarzkopf Bonacure Color Freeze Sulfate-Free Shampoo.
Wow has it really been a month and a half since I last did a hair related post? I can’t believe how quickly time is passing me by at the moment. In my last post about switching to sulphate free, I promised a more long term update and I have now had chance to try out a couple of the other shampoos that I mentioned were on the market, so I’m going to do some quick reviews on them for you.

Before we get started with what seems like my first product review in ages, I’d first of all like to say a big thank you to the lovely people who have responded so positively and given such helpful suggestions following yesterday’s post. I had a good night’s sleep and have woken up feeling much happier and more motivated. So thank you to the wonderful blogger community and my blogger friends for all your advice!
This is a product that you have probably seen me talk about on the blog before, although I haven’t yet done a proper review for it. I think the review is long overdue, as I have now finished this particular tub and purchased another one. That probably tells you a lot about how I feel about this hair mask! Keep reading
