The Melt Crowd is a brand new subscription service from Flamingo Candles. Well, I say brand new, this is their second month. I sadly discovered it one day too late to get my hands on June’s box (which was a capped number for their first month and sold out before release!) so I’ve been waiting pretty impatiently for this for the last month… But boy oh boy was it worth it!

Creating That Home-y Feeling

I thought I’d talk about something a bit different today. Over the past four years, I have moved at least once a year. First into halls in Cardiff, then into a 6 bed house for my second year of university, followed by a 3 bed flat for my final year. Then I moved back to my parents into a room my mum had decorated for me, but never really felt like mine and then back into what had always been my bedroom when my brother went off to uni and, most recently, into a 2 bed house in Reading. Through out all this, I have gained a pretty good idea of how to make what is usually a pretty plain space into somewhere that feels like it belongs to me and gives that lovely comforting feeling of being home. Here’s a few images of my new place and some thoughts on what I think make a place home.

Yankee Candle Christmas Cookie Review

One of my favourite things to help me relax on a cold winter’s evening is to light a candle. I often read or watch a favourite show whilst one is burning, as the comforting scent spreads throughout the room. Somehow, that makes it seem so much warmer and cosier.
