I’m very pleased to say I have been nominated for my third and fourth Liebster Awards! The first of those was from Miss Wish and the other from The Glasgow Girl! Both are fairly new bloggers so go check them out!
So there I was thinking about what I should write about today, when along came the postman with this month’s Glossybox! It’s like he read my mind! This month, we’re back to the iconic pink box. This month’s box contains 5 products, 3 of which are full sized. Here’s what was inside:

At first look, this may seem like a very boring manicure and I guess in some ways it is, but I am a big fan of dark nails and regularly wear black varnish. Recently, I purchased this bottle of Essie in the shade Liquorice on a whim, as my other black is quite old and is getting a bit gloopy.
I was lucky enough to get myself this bottle of foundation free on a promotion Smashbox were doing last Friday, where the first 20 people to their local Smashbox counter got a bottle of foundation just by showing that they liked their facebook page. How could I say no to that?!
Yup, another tag post! This time I was nominated by the lovely Becca from Beck In A Blog, who is one of my favourite bloggers and such a lovely girl to talk to. If you don’t already follow her, you really should. Keep reading
Happy Halloween everyone! Yup, another empties post already! I’ve been surprisingly good at using up my old products lately, but I’ve also got some items in here which are just too old to still be usable. First up, the products which are actually empty!

Before we get started with what seems like my first product review in ages, I’d first of all like to say a big thank you to the lovely people who have responded so positively and given such helpful suggestions following yesterday’s post. I had a good night’s sleep and have woken up feeling much happier and more motivated. So thank you to the wonderful blogger community and my blogger friends for all your advice!
This is a product that you have probably seen me talk about on the blog before, although I haven’t yet done a proper review for it. I think the review is long overdue, as I have now finished this particular tub and purchased another one. That probably tells you a lot about how I feel about this hair mask! Keep reading
So this is an unscheduled post (read: rant…) that I have been debating writing for some time now, but today I have decided it’s time to get this off my chest because I am deeply unhappy.
As you may be aware, I graduated this summer with a 2:1 in BA (Hons) Graphic Communications from a good university with good employment ratings in a field where there are still a fair amount of jobs going despite the recession. And yet, here I am, almost five months later, having just been rejected for yet another design job and feeling incredibly frustrated, stressed and plain old fed up. Keep reading
So over a month ago, Berenice from It’s Bere G nominated me for this award! She has since moved domain to itsbereg.blogspot.mx so go check her out! Big thank you to Berenice for my nomination, it means a lot that you like my blog enough to nominate it!
I guess I should really call this post ‘Beauty Haul Plus Gifts From Mum’ because it also includes some items my mum picked up for me whilst she was in France last week. Lucky me! I’ve picked these bits and bobs up over the past few weeks, some of which were at a great price.

I’ve had my box for just over a week now and have had chance to try out the products in it. Some are definite winners. Others, not so much.

I don’t think it’s any secret that Black Milk Clothing is my all time favourite clothing brand. They have such a great range of clothes covering everything from every day staples, perfect gear for a night out and licensed pieces to make your inner nerd squeal with delight. All whilst being high quality and ethically made in Australia. It made perfect sense to me then, that they needed to be the focus of their own post, and as I am trying to include more fashion posts in my blog this seemed like the place to start. Here are my top ten items, in no particular order, that I have been lusting after for some time now.

I’ve been pretty bad at keeping up with my tags and award nominations lately, so I’d like to apologise about that. I was nominated for this tag by Aisha from The Beauty Linguist over a month ago now, but this seems like a fun little post to do, so here goes.

Another month, another amazing Glossybox! This month’s box has a pop art theme and to my surprise came in this awesome yellow carton. How cool?! (Also I hope you appreciate my Studio Ghibli plushies in the background there haha) Inside was this gorgeous box design, was was available in a few different colours.
